3. Texture & Smell
When coming straight out of the bottle, it’s a clear transparent gel with a very smooth and soft texture. It has kinda a flowery smell, but it is not too strong or overpowering. After the peeling, the scent kinda changes and leaves a strong after scent, even after washing off the dead skin.
After applying the gel and massaging it onto your skin, it kinda starts forming little balls and peels of the skin.

5. Packaging
When I purchased this Tony Moly Floria Brightening Peeling Gel, there was a special event where the Whitening Capsule Essence Special Set was the same price as just buying the peeling gel. The set came in a nice blue box.
If you buy the peeling gel on its own, it doesn’t come in a box and you’ll get just the tube in a plastic wrapper.
If you buy the tube in a set it comes in 100 ml otherwise it comes in 150 ml and comes with a screw on dispensing lid.

6. Personal Review
Trying this product has been on my wish list for a very long time and I finally came around to try. The gel is very clear and has a faint flowery scent. I don’t particularly like products that are too scented, but this scents isn’t too overpowering. If you face and hands are dry, it is easy to spread the cream all over your face.
I’m always really sceptical about using peeling gels as many users have said that they give fake results and that the cream is just balling up. So when trying a new peeling gel, I always use it twice in a row, just to see if the second time the peeling is less than the first time.
The first time, while massaging lots of little balls were formed which looks kinda like peeling skin and they also became a bit greyish. After rinsing of and drying my skin, I tried the same process for a second time. I used the same amount of gel and applied it on the same spot again. There was way less peeling skin and it also wasn’t as greyish as the first time.
Not only did my skin peel quite a bit, after rinsing off and washing my face, it looked quite a bit brighter. The effect is not immense, but just using the product is pretty fun and satisfying.
I didn’t have any irritation, dry skin or outbreak after using this product, and my skin was glowing (not a huge difference).
How To Use Tony Moly Floria Brightening Peeling Gel
The Tony Moly Floria Brightening Peeling Gel should only be used once or twice a week as it can be quite abrasive when used regularly and cause outbreak.
Start by washing your face using a cleansing oil and dry your skin afterwards. They apply 1-2 plumps and softly massage it into your skin until it is fully exfoliated (for about 10-30 seconds). Rinse of the cream using lukewarm water.
This peeling gel is not only for your face but can also be used on other parts of you body like your legs, arms, feet, etc. This gel is perfect for rough parts of your body.
Other Korean Peeling Gels
There are several alternative Korean products to the Tony Moly Floria Brightening Peeling Gel that are worth considering. One option is the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Scrub Foam, which is made with volcanic clusters from Jeju Island and helps to unclog pores and remove dead skin cells.
Another option is the COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner, which contains alpha and beta hydroxy acids to exfoliate and brighten the skin. The Missha Super Aqua D-Tox Peeling Gel is also a great alternative, as it uses papaya enzymes to gently exfoliate and brighten the skin.
Additionally, the Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off is a popular choice, as it contains black sugar granules to exfoliate and moisturize the skin.
Ultimately, it’s important to choose a product that works best for your skin type and concerns, but these Korean alternatives are great options to consider.
