Tony Moly is a Korean skin care and cosmetics brand which is known for their cute packaging, but they have so much more to offer than just cute packaging. In this blog post I will be reviewing a couple of Tony Moly lip tints. Why? Because a lip tint is a must have, especially for women on the go. What Is Lip Tint?
Lip tint is quite different from lip gloss, lip cream or lip lacquer. Lip tints are designed to last all day (around 8 hours) and leave a stain on your lips. They tend to fade slowly during the day and are perfect to put early morning when you are in rush.
Not surprisingly that lip tints have other benefits than just giving a colour to your lips. They also tend to be hydrating because of their watery consistency and in winter they could help protect your lips against the cold weather.

Tony Moly Lip Tint Review
In this review I will only cover their new collection, the Red of the Day collection. This is Tony Moly’s latest lip tint collection. Read on for the full Tony Moly lip tint review.
1. Full Name & Description
Velvet Smudging Tint #ROTD
A highly-pigmented, matte tint that weighs less on the lips and delivers long wearing coverage. There are 3 different shades namely 01 Neutral, 02 Just Rose and 03 Well-Matched Brick. All are are different shade of red but the texture is quite similar. In this Tony Moly lip tint review I will also talk about the lip sticks as they have a similar colour and texture. The name of the lip sticks is Mono Chrome Matte Lipstick #ROTD and the different shades are 01 One Pick Red, 02 Crazy Red and 03 Suddenly Red.
Apart from the lip tint, the #ROTD collection also includes eye glitter, matte lipstick and eye shadow.
2. Ingredients
Each lip tint has it’s own different ingredients but the main ingredients are as follow: camellia oil, cotton seed oil and rose hip fruit oil. NO benzophenone, animality and talc

3. Texture
I love all the 3 colours, but my favourite is the 03 Well-Matched Brick because it pops and has good pigmentation. As expected from a Matte lip tint, it is quite dry but is has a lovely velvet texture. This might dry out your lips a bit, so I would recommend putting on a lip balm before applying the matte lip.
The lip tint stains nicely and really stays on all day, by the end of the day (without reapplying during the day) I still had some faint lip tint stains on my lips. This is something that makes me happy as I don’t want to reapply lipstick or tint during the day. I want to put it on once in the morning and not worry about it for the rest of the day. Even after eating or drinking water, the colour remains quite vivid. It’s a bit faded but not much.
When applying, it doesn’t easily spread out, so you will have to go over it a couple of times with your brush, but that didn’t really bother me.

4. Scent
This Tony Moly lip tint isn’t specially scented but smells like any other lip tint, a bit sweet and fruity. I actually love how lip tints smell when applying, but during the day the scent fades quickly.

The bottle is 9 cm high and 2×2 cm wide on each side.
The design of the bottle and the box is really pretty. The bottle is mat transparent so you can see how much lip tint remains in the bottle.
6. Availability
Picking the right shop to buy this lip tint probably depends on your locations. If you living in South Korea, then head to Myeongdong shopping street or go to the Korean Tony Moly website.
If you are living abroad then the official US Tony Moly website, Amazon or Ebay might the best Korean beauty stores to buy from. This new lines hasn’t been released outside Korea yet, but you can buy their previous collections here:

Around 10$, which is quite similar to the lip tint of Innisfree and other Korean beauty brands.
8. Personal Rating
4,5/5. I’m quite impressed with this lip tint. Honestly before trying any of the Tony Moly products I always associated the brand with their cute panda collection which is cute and all but is also high quality? My last review of Tony Moly was about the Aloe Gel which I am still using and this time both the lip tint and lip sticks have really impressed me. I’m loving the texture and the fact that it stays on all day. I did put on some lip balm before putting the Tony Moly lip tint as I very easily get cracked and dry lips.
You do have to pay attention when applying as its takes some rubbing to get it off if miss applied.
Other ROTD Tony Moly Products
Like already mentioned above the #ROTD collection doesn’t only include lip tints but also lip stick, eye shadow and eye glitter. Honestly I think all the product go well together and should be worn together.
The eye shadow pallet consist of 9 different shades of red/pinkish and three of them are glittery. These are the perfect colours to wear during autumn in Seoul or the rest of Korea when the country is covered with the stunning autumn leaves.
The #ROTD eye glitter comes in 4 different colours namely the 01 Candy Bot, 02 I am Dreamer, 03 Bronze villain and the 04 Serious Red. The 01 is white with a slight hit of red, but the 04 is full on red.
Lastly the #ROTD lip stick, which is quite similar to the lip tint. It is also matte and stays on all day. The three different shades are called 01 One Pick Red, 02 Crazy Red and 03 Suddenly Red.
