Hello Marie,

I just want to check on the credit cards needed to rent the cars.

My bestfriend and I are going to Jeju in Oct, and only I have a credit card between the two of us. However, she is the one with the license and who will also be driving. Can I use my credit card for the rental, even though it will be her who is driving and also her who will be obtaining the international driving permit?

In reply to Lee. A Korean cc is something foreigner travelers most likely won't have. Of course there are other types of insurances, from the travelers home country.

Thanks Marie for all your information. One question though: You seemed not to mention how the insurance covered/provided by major CCs (Credit Cards) play or work, instead of the one bought directly from the rental company. Could you comment on that?
